HOW TRIM SOURCING WORKS AT FS100

1. Submit your trim requirements

Send us your tech pack, trim specifications, or even just photos of what you're looking for. We need quantities, colors, sizes, and any customization details (logo engraving, custom woven text, Pantone color matching, etc.).

2. We source from our supplier network

FS100 works with over 40 trim suppliers specializing in apparel hardware, woven and printed labels, packaging, and garment findings. We pull samples or spec sheets from the suppliers that match your requirements and budget.

3. Approval and ordering

We send you samples, pricing, and lead times. Once approved, we place the order and coordinate delivery directly to your production facility, our warehouse, or your cut & sew contractor in Los Angeles.

4. Quality check and delivery

All trims are inspected upon arrival. If you're producing with FS100, trims are delivered directly to the factory floor when needed. If you're self-producing, we ship trims to your location or hold inventory for future orders.

Lead times: Domestic trims typically arrive in 1-3 weeks. Custom or imported trims can take 4-8 weeks depending on complexity. Rush service available for select items.

TRIM TYPES WE SOURCE

Custom Woven Labels

Damask, taffeta, and satin woven labels with your brand name, logo, or care instructions. Available in cut-and-fold, end-fold, loop fold, or straight-cut formats. Full-color weaving or tone-on-tone. Minimums start at 100 pieces for stock layouts, 500 pieces for fully custom designs.

Printed Labels (Heat Transfer & Screen Print)

Soft-hand printed labels for tagless garments. Ideal for activewear, intimates, and anything where comfort matters. Minimums as low as 100 pieces. Pantone color matching available.

Hang Tags

Custom printed hang tags on cardstock, chipboard, or specialty materials like kraft paper, recycled stock, or textured finishes. Options include foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, and die-cut shapes. We also source string, safety pins, and plastic fasteners. Minimum 250 pieces.

Buttons

Metal buttons (brass, gunmetal, antique finishes), plastic buttons (polyester, resin, corozo), shell buttons, and wood buttons. Custom engraving, logo stamping, or color-matching available. Minimums vary by type — typically 144-500 pieces depending on customization.

Zippers

Metal zippers, nylon coil zippers, invisible zippers, two-way zippers, and waterproof zippers. Stock colors available in small quantities; custom Pantone-matched zipper tape requires 500+ pieces. Zipper pulls can be customized with logo engraving or custom shapes.

Elastics & Drawcords

Flat elastic, braided elastic, knit elastic, and woven elastic in widths from 1/4" to 3". Custom colors and logo weaving available. Round drawcords, flat drawcords, and specialty cords with metal or plastic aglets. Minimum 100 yards.

Specialty Hardware

Grommets, eyelets, rivets, D-rings, buckles, snaps, hook-and-loop closures (Velcro), and cord locks. Available in metal finishes (nickel, brass, antique brass, gunmetal, rose gold) and plastic. Custom logo engraving available on select hardware.

Packaging & Finishing

Poly bags (clear, frosted, or custom printed), tissue paper, stickers, size stickers, barcode labels, shipping boxes, and mailer bags. Minimum quantities vary by item.

Do you source packaging like poly bags and boxes?

Yes. We source poly bags (including custom-printed bags with your logo), tissue paper, stickers, mailer boxes, and shipping supplies. Great for brands doing direct-to-consumer fulfillment or retail packaging.

What's the lead time for custom trims?

Domestic production: 1-3 weeks for most items. Imported or highly customized trims: 4-8 weeks. Rush production available on select trims for an additional fee.
